This study looks at the time it took to make vancomycin (a Staphylococcus aureus antibiotic) area-under-the-curve estimations, comparing Bayesian analysis with more traditional pharmacokinetic software. They conclude that, “Without EHR [electronic health record] integration, Bayesian software was more time-consuming to assess vancomycin dosing than PK [pharmacokinetic] equations.”
