    Researchers from Northeastern University, Indiana University, and the University of Cincinnati conducted a series of experiments to better understand why we ‘pass the buck.’

    The study, published in the journal Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, explains that this phenomenon is seen in a number of diverse scenarios, including business decisions, choosing a hotel, and ordering meals.
