  • Northeastern University gets $14M to lead development of smart sensors

    Northeastern University has been awarded $14 million from the Commonwealth, private companies and universities to develop smart sensors for industries ranging from medical and defense to energy.

    Gov. Charlie Baker and his administration awarded a five-year $3 million grant to Northeastern University on Tuesday in order to establish the project, formally called the Advanced Nanomanufacturing Cluster for Smart Sensors and Materials.
