    On Monday, May 18, Northeastern University announced it will be partnering with the City of Boston and providing $26 million in funding for the revitalization of a nearby public park.

    William E. Carter Playground, located on the chunk of Columbus Ave. that slices through NU’s campus, will receive a massive facelift that includes a cutting-edge athletic complex, upgraded fields, tennis courts, a children’s playground and green space to support the Southwest Corridor Park system.
