  • MLB is making it easier for pro baseball players to get college degrees

    Last week, Major League Baseball announced a partnership with Northeastern University to fulfill a commitment to higher education for its players agreed upon with the MLBPA in the sport’s new collective bargaining agreement. Northeastern will provide players access to bachelor’s and master’s degree programs at the school, as well as academic and career counseling available to all players regardless of past academic experience.
