  • ‘Knightly’ is prepping to pilot its ultimate safety network for college students

    BostInno - 09/30/2016

Last fall, Northeastern startup Knightly turned heads when it announced its plans to create the ultimate safety device and network for college students. A year later, the venture has built its prototype – for both the hardware and software components – and its gearing up for two forthcoming pilots with the Husky community.

Abbey Titcomb, founder/CEO of Knightly and a fourth-year student at Northeastern, has been using her co-op time to work full-time on Knightly since July. In that time, she has brought on employee number two, an engineer, and has developed a full prototype for Knightly’s network, web and mobile applications, and accompanying hardware.
