  • Boston balances yesterday with today: The year in arts

    WBUR - 01/01/2015

The year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings brought out art in all its forms, such as the Dear Boston exhibit held temporarily at the Boston Public Library. Notably, Northeastern University created “Our Marathon: The Boston Bombing Digital Archive,” in collaboration with WBUR, which sought to collect the personal stories, images, videos and social media history related to the tragedy and aftermath up through the year anniversary. Modeled after the Sept. 11 archive, “Our Marathon” was one of the first digital archives to be used in the time following a major catastrophe.
