  • Advisory shows ISIS a ‘truly global’ threat

    Boston Herald - 11/24/2015

ISIS has said it was behind a series of coordinated assaults in Paris that slaughtered 130 and wounded more than 350, as well as the bombing of a Russian airliner over Egypt that killed all 224 onboard. An ISIS video last week threatened an attack on Times Square in New York.

“The Islamic State has become a truly global terrorism threat in way that they never have been before,” cautioned Northeastern University terrorism expert Max Abrahms. “There’s a real sense that these foreign jihadis are leaving Syria to strike soft targets in the West.”
