Reminder of Fall Safety Requirements

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
A fully in-person fall term is about to start with all campus activities resuming. It continues to be our foremost priority to maintain a safe campus environment for learning, teaching, research, work, and recreational activities.
All U.S.-based and Toronto Northeastern faculty, staff and students are required to be vaccinated. This remains the single best way to combat the coronavirus. In addition, the university will resume once-a-week testing next week. Please read the information below:
- Testing Requirements on U.S. Campuses: Starting on the week of September 6, faculty, staff, students, and vendor employees—both fully vaccinated and unvaccinated—will be required to test once a week if they are on campus one day a week or more. This testing cadence applies on any U.S.-based Northeastern. Everyone is welcome to begin their testing cadence during the week of September 6 or before for students moving into residence halls on the Boston campus. Boston-based faculty, staff, and students should use the COVID-19 Test Scheduler to schedule their tests.
- Daily Wellness Check: Starting the week of September 6, everyone—fully vaccinated and unvaccinated—should resume completing the Daily Wellness Check any day they are on campus.
- Submit Proof of Vaccination: Northeastern faculty, staff, and students are required to submit verification of vaccination— no later than September 7th for the Toronto community and no later than September 8th for U.S.-based faculty and staff.
- Vaccine Clinics on the Boston Campus: Northeastern will host vaccination clinics on its Boston campus on Friday, September 3 and Thursday, September 9—open to anyone who still needs to be vaccinated. Visit our partner website to schedule an appointment.
