Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Northeastern University has maintained a safe and healthy environment across all of its campuses. Campus life in spring 2023 will be normal, in person, and bustling—on all 13 Northeastern campuses across North America and in London. Here’s the latest you need to know:

Vaccination is strongly encouraged but no longer required for faculty, staff and students.

Masking is not required on any of Northeastern’s global campuses, unless mandated by a local public health authority. Those who choose to wear masks are welcome to do so. (Masks will continue to be required at University Health and Counseling Services on the Boston campus.)

Testing is optional. Rapid antigen tests will be available for faculty, students, and staff upon request and free of charge, across Northeastern’s campuses.
