Steve Soboroff, second from left, a Los Angeles business and civic leader, joined the Boston Typewriter Orchestra on Thursday afternoon in a special performance held during a Gallery 360 exhibit featuring Soboroff’s collection of typewriters previously owned by visionary writers, Hollywood Celebrities, and provocative 20th-century figures. The exhibit, “Celebrity Type,” is on display at Northeastern’s Gallery 360 through Sept. 25.
