We took the opportunity to ask the university’s newest students what they are most excited for as they begin their Northeastern experience. Alexandra Cohen Hometown: Caracas, Venezuela Major: Civil engineering “I came to Boston because it’s a city with a lot of students from all over the world. I wanted the whole college experience.” Aaron Hoang Hometown: Revere, Mass. Major: Computer science “I already can’t wait for co-op. It’s a great opportunity, and it could help me get a job right out of college.” Julia Fisher Hometown: Livingston, N.J. Major: International business “I love languages and I’ve already studied abroad in Spain, so I just can’t wait to see what experiences Northeastern has to offer.” Muigai Unaka Hometown: Randolph, Mass. Major: Computer science and digital arts “I’m going to meet new people and network as much as I can to learn about this big world around us.” Erika Nothnagel Hometown: Chicago, Ill. Major: International business and Spanish “I definitely want to go to Mexico and study accounting. I couldn’t do that at any other school.” Andrew Cloud Hometown: Tampa, Fla. Major: Computer science and interactive media “I want to study computer science now, but if it turned out I wanted to stray away from that field, I wouldn’t be stuck. There’s so much I could explore here.”
