Centennial Common gets lit (but hopefully the squirrels won't)
This isn’t the usual household tree-decorating affair. It is a vast undertaking with hundreds of industrial-grade strings of bulbs meticulously wrapped around tree trunks. If connected end-to-end, the strings of lights would reach almost 2,000 feet, higher than the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, New York’s One World Trade Center, the project manager says.
