Instead of competing for an NCAA title in women’s ice hockey, Mueller and her Husky teammates have been devoting themselves to responsible isolation. The desire to save lives during the COVID-19 pandemic has superseded dreams of all kinds around the world.

Northeastern men are seeking a three-peat in Boston’s premier college hockey tournament, which opens Monday at TD Garden. In the Women’s Beanpot on Tuesday at Agganis Arena, the highly ranked Huskies are favored to earn their first title since 2013.
