Dear Northeastern Faculty and Staff,

We are pleased to announce that Northeastern will partner with a local pharmacy to offer COVID-19 vaccinations for members of the Northeastern community next week on the Boston campus.

The clinic will offer Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine at Cabot Testing Center in Boston on Tuesday, May 4 from 10 AM to 6 PM and on Wednesday, May 5 from 10 AM to 6 PM. An appointment is required and can be scheduled through the COVID-19 Vaccination Scheduler. When you schedule your appointment, you’ll be asked to complete a pre-scheduling information form and a pre-screening form. At the time of vaccination, you will be asked to complete a consent form.

To learn more about the vaccine, please review the CDC’s information on the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to learn about possible side effects. The CDC and U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a temporary pause of the vaccine but now recommend the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, after a review of all the available data.

Whether you opt to get the vaccine on campus or for another vaccine option, we encourage all members of the community to get the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as it becomes available to them.

Sincerely,

Chancellor and Senior Vice President for Learning
