Dear Northeastern Community,
To continue helping our Northeastern staff, faculty and students meet the booster shot requirement, Northeastern will hold additional booster shot vaccine clinics on our Boston campus this month, with the Holtzman Medical Group.
As a reminder, Northeastern announced that all faculty and staff who work at one of Northeastern University’s U.S. campuses, and all students attending or visiting a U.S. campus, are required to receive a booster shot by January 18, 2022, or seven days after they become eligible.
Dates and Times of the Vaccine Clinics
All vaccine clinics are located at Cabot Testing Center on the Boston campus.
Wednesday, January 5 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Thursday, January 6 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Tuesday, January 11 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Wednesday, January 12 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Tuesday, January 18 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Important Reminders
- Please note that the FDA and the CDC have authorized heterologous boosters often referred to as “mixing and matching” vaccines. For instance, if you originally received two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, you can now receive a booster from either Pfizer or Moderna.
- Allow 30 minutes for your appointment so you can remain at the vaccine site for 15 minutes of monitoring after your dose.
- Please bring your insurance card and vaccination card.
Accessing Other Vaccine Providers
We also urge everyone to check local vaccine providers if you are not on the Boston campus or if you’re unable to book an appointment. You can find additional information on booster shots here for Massachusetts, California, Washington, Maine, North Carolina, Virginia, British Columbia, Ontario, and the United Kingdom.
