What is Convocation?
Convocation is the official welcome for Northeastern’s newest students before classes begin. Over three days in September, several campuses will host their own ceremonies with student speakers, alumni voices and university leaders. Whether you’re starting in Boston, Oakland, New York City or London, convocation is the shared beginning of your unique Northeastern experience. All ceremonies will be livestreamed here so everyone can be a part of the festivities, even if they can’t attend in person.
