In honor of relationships with more than 150 community organizations throughout Boston, Northeastern’s City and Community Engagement team hosts the Heart of Community 2026 awards ceremony at the Fenway Center. The annual celebration spotlights the dedicated leaders and staff who have uplifted the community. John Jackson of the Tobin Community Center was recognized for his community leadership. The Supervisor of the Year award went to Scott Pyzik of EVKids. The Community Champion was awarded to Asha Janay, the Roxbury liaison to the city of Boston.
