What every Northeastern student (and parent) needs to know about moving onto the Boston campus this fall.
The big move is coming to Northeastern’s Boston campus. What parents and students need to know.

Thousands of students, both new and returning, are expected to move onto Northeastern University’s Boston campus over Labor Day weekend.
Here are some answers to frequently asked questions.
When are students moving in?
The move-in period on the Boston campus is Labor Day weekend: Friday, Sept. 4 through Monday, Sept. 7.
Fall classes begin on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
The university staggers the move-ins over multiple days to better support each student as they move onto campus. This reduces traffic congestion and frees up staff.
What is my specific move-in day and where is my residency hall?
Students should have received emails and other correspondence from Northeastern’s Housing and Residential Life team letting them know their specific move-in day and where they should park. Students can log onto the university’s online portal to see their specific building.
