Happy Friday, Huskies! At the end of an exciting week, it’s important to pause and reflect on a job well done. In Boston, labs were lit up with lights and insights that could change the future of biofuels. When they’re not studying the tiniest of elements under massive microscopes, researchers are also using lasers to unlock the next steps of innovation and understanding. And in between classes, co-ops and intense study sessions, students found time to cheer on four Husky graduates at the Winter Olympics in Milan. Students on the Boston campus shed tears of joy – and stress – as they watched the women’s ice hockey team win the gold in real time. It was a nail-biting finish and a fitting farewell to the Olympics Games, which will close on Sunday.
