The fall semester is in full swing. Students are busy working on group projects and conducting research. Associate Dean of Space and Special Initiatives Sandra Shefelbine and Ph.D. student Lindsey Young, for example, have been studying bone growth inside the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex on the Boston campus. Meanwhile, the Northeastern men’s hockey team signed 11-year-old Mack Welby through Team IMPACT, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses through the power of team.
