In 2023, Northeastern experienced dynamic academic and research growth, an expanded global footprint, additional industry partnerships, and historic athletic success. The university celebrated its 125th year by opening the new EXP research center in Boston and a new campus in Miami. With students in 148 countries across all seven continents, Northeastern further entrenched itself as the world’s leader in experiential learning, while providing $450 million in financial aid, including a record $437 million for undergraduate students. It’s no surprise the university received a record 96,641 undergraduate applications. And if that weren’t enough, Beanpot titles for the men’s and women’s hockey teams also gave students, faculty, staff, graduates and their families plenty to cheer about.
