Renovations of the fourth floor of the Snell Library on the Boston campus have been completed and the floor will reopen Monday, Nov. 13.

The fourth floor will now feature additional individual and group study spaces, reservable group study rooms, single-person pods for phone and video calls, a new glass-enclosed silent study room, and improved acoustic dampening, according to Dan Cohen, vice provost for information collaboration, dean of the libraries, and professor of history at Northeastern.

With the completion of this work, construction will move to the third floor, which will close on Monday, Nov. 13, with an expected completion date of summer 2024, he said.
