Recently, there were several reasons to celebrate at Northeastern. World-renowned computer scientist Tina Eliassi-Rad was installed as the inaugural Joseph E. Aoun Professor. Northeastern’s first Black fraternity held a weekend-long party in Boston for their 50th anniversary. Celebrations included speeches from members of the brotherhood, music and a message from President Biden. Meanwhile Fuel America, which brews craft coffee, opened a cafe in the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex on the Boston campus.
