Levine/Northeastern University Dear Northeastern Boston-based community, As the spring semester comes to a close, we want to provide an exciting update on the Marino Center renovation project. The renovation of Marino Center will include several updates to the building which will greatly enhance the recreation experience for the entire campus community, including: Basketball court replacement Upgrades to free-weight equipment to the weight room Upgrades and maintenance throughout the facility All Gender locker room To provide the opportunity for this work to be completed, Marino Center will be closed from May 8 through the end of summer I, with a full reopening slated for the start of the fall semester following all major renovations. During the closure period, additional recreation offerings will be available on campus through: Extended hours at SquashBusters Center Expansion of offerings in the Functional Training Space adjacent to SquashBusters Athletics and Recreation will be providing regular updates throughout the summer, including opportunities for programming in Solomon Court at the Cabot Center, the Cabot Center Varsity Weight Room, and the YMCA of Greater Boston on Huntington Avenue. Additional communication will be distributed when details are finalized.
