Each spring, as the trees and flowers begin to bloom, the students are reminded that the semester is nearing the end. With just a few weeks of classes left, students settled into their favorite study spots to work on assignments and prepare for presentations. As a part of Holocaust and Genocide Awareness Week, the Northeastern community had the opportunity to hear from Elisabeth Dopazo, who spoke about her harrowing tale of growing up in Nazi Germany. Undergraduate Andrew Small was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship. He will travel to Japan to continue his work researching disaster preparedness and resilience, making the Northeastern community proud from afar.
