This was a momentous week for Northeastern. The university’s women’s hockey team defeated Providence, 4-1, to win an unprecedented sixth straight Hockey East championship, advancing the Huskies to their third straight NCAA TournamenT. Later in the week, President Joseph E. Aoun hosted a conversation with the executive chairman of Fueltrade Ltd., Chris Chinebuah, to kick off the Global Leadership Summit in Accra, Ghana. The annual marine science symposium, held jointly with the Massachusetts Marine Educators group, taught Boston-area students that the survival of the marine environment depends on them.
