Arboretum in the making

Northeastern Arboretum co-op Nadia Plaschke hangs a permanent identification label in Fitzgerald Park in Mission Hill. The co-ops labeled plant species in the park as part of the certification process for Fitzgerald Park to become an arboretum. One of the requirements is to have at least 25 different species growing in the space and to see that they are inventoried and labeled properly. Photo by Alyssa Stone/Northeastern University
