It was a roller-coaster week around the world—and at Northeastern, where a crowd of stunned Ukrainian students and supporters gathered on Centennial Common Thursday, protesting Russia’s unprovoked airstrikes and military invasion into Ukraine. Earlier this week, Liz Feltner made her Northeastern community proud by placing third in the “Jeopardy!” National College Championship. And researchers, studying pigments found in camouflaging squid skin, developed a wearable device that can detect UV radiation, alerting the wearer to dangerous levels of exposure.
