The ideal candidate is a team player who wants to contribute to an innovative, multiplatform digital news operation. The reporter co-op will conceptualize and write a range of news stories, features, and other materials, using the full array of digital storytelling platforms to promote Northeastern’s programs, priorities, and community to internal and external audiences with the goal of increasing visibility and enhancing the university’s reputation.

The reporter co-op is expected to research information thoroughly and accurately, working closely with administrators, faculty, students, and other members of the campus community. He/she is expected to collaborate with editors to achieve communications goals.

The reporter co-op must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
