This weekend, parents and families of Northeastern students will spread out across campus and Boston for three days of excursions and events for Parent and Family Weekend. Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know ahead of time to make the most of the weekend.

Welcome to campus

Check in at the Curry Student Center Indoor Quad starting at 8 a.m. Friday to pick up the final program schedule and tickets to any events you’ve pre-registered for. For families who pre-registered, use your parking pass to access the 795 Columbus Avenue Garage for day and overnight parking. Parking for all other guests is available for an hourly fee in the Renaissance Parking Garage and Gainsborough Garage.

Can’t-miss events

President Joseph E. Aoun will welcome students and their families on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Blackman Auditorium. Seating is limited, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot. Following the program, head to Centennial Common for the Family Fall Festival, featuring autumn-themed treats, pumpkin and face painting, and more.

Immerse yourself in Northeastern’s campus with a public art walking tour on Friday at 3:30 p.m. and a visit to the new Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex on Saturday at 1 p.m. Or catch one of the many Northeastern Athletics home events happening on campus and around Boston.

Pre-registered guests can also learn about Boston’s history on a Duck Tour, visit Fenway Park, and take a boat cruise around Boston Harbor. Or they can stay on campus to enjoy a comedy show and men’s ice hockey game. Registration for ticketed events has closed, but pre-registered families can pick up their tickets at check-in.
