Carnevale, Northeastern’s annual celebration of the globe’s many cultures, features a range of events throughout the month of February, from world trivia night, to music, to art workshops.

Oh, and did we mention that many of the events center on food? That’s by design, said Kristen Cammarata, director of international student support and programming in the Office of Global Services, which sponsors Carnevale. “We’re really focused on the importance of food in cultures, while engaging students from both American and international cultural groups,” Cammarata said.

Indeed, many of the Carnevale events are hosted by student organizations. All events are open to the entire Northeastern community, though many require registration. The full schedule is available on the Office of Global Services Facebook page.

Events scheduled for the rest of this week include:

“Make Your Own Tangyuan”, Friday, 5 p.m., 405 Ell Hall

A showcase of short films from Singapore, Friday, 6 p.m., 024 East Village
