Staying around campus during winter break? Here’s what’s open, closed

While campus life will quiet down during the winter break, some uni­ver­sity services will remain open. Here are the hours of oper­a­tion for Snell Library, Squash­Busters, Dining Ser­vices, and more.

Snell Library

Snell Library will be closed from Dec. 24 to Jan. 2, during which time Speare Commons will serve as an alternate study location. The library will re-​​open on Jan. 3 at 8 a.m.

Campus recreation

The Marino Center will be closed from Dec. 17 to Jan. 2, during which time the facility will undergo several improvements. Lockers will be repaired, the equipment in the free weight room will be cleaned, and the studio floors will be re-coated.

To accom­mo­date those looking to workout, stu­dents, fac­ulty, and staff with a valid Husky Card will have access to the Badger and Rosen Squash­Busters facility. SquashBusters will be open every day from Dec. 17 to Dec. 30, except for Dec. 24 and Dec. 25.

Curry Student Center

The Curry Stu­dent Center will be closed from Dec. 24 to Jan. 1.

The book­store, how­ever, will be open from. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 27, Dec. 28, and Dec. 29, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 30. Regular operating hours will resume on Jan. 3

Dining Services

The Stetson West eatery will remain open from Dec. 19 to Jan. 1, except for Dec. 24 and Dec. 25.

International Village will be closed from Dec. 17 to Jan. 3.

Outtakes will be closed from Dec. 17 to Jan. 8.

Levine Marketplace will be closed from Dec. 19 to Jan. 1.

Select retail locations will be open from Jan. 3 to Jan. 8, including Starbucks, On the Go, and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.

Reg­ular hours of oper­a­tion will resume on Jan. 9. Visit North­eastern Dining’s website for a com­plete list of hours of operation.

Health services

Uni­ver­sity Health and Coun­seling Ser­vices will be closed from Dec. 24 to Jan. 2. The office will re-​​open on Jan. 3 at 8 a.m.

Resident Mail Services

Res­Mail will be open from Dec. 27 to Dec. 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The mailrooms—located in the lower level of 7 Speare Hall and 716 Columbus Ave.—will otherwise be closed for the winter break and return to their reg­ular hours of oper­a­tion on Jan. 3.

Stu­dent Finan­cial Services

The Stu­dent Finan­cial Ser­vices office will be open on Dec. 27 and Dec. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The office will otherwise be closed for the winter break and return to its regular hours of operation on Jan. 3.

Office of Global Services

The Office of Global Services will be open on Dec. 27 and Dec. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The office will otherwise be closed for the winter break and return to its regular hours of operation on Jan. 3.

Ath­letics

For those looking for some­thing to do over the winter break, the Huskies have you covered. The women’s basketball team will play Siena on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at 2 p.m. at Cabot Center. The men’s hockey team will battle Clarkson on Friday, Dec. 30 at 7 p.m. at Matthews Arena. And the men’s bas­ket­ball team will face William & Mary on Saturday, Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. at Matthews Arena.

Northeastern University-Seattle

Northeastern’s graduate campus in Seattle will be closed from Dec. 24. to Jan. 2, keep limited hours from Jan. 3 to Jan. 6, and resume regular hours of operation on Jan. 9. Here’s is Northeastern-Seattle’s winter break schedule.

Northeastern University-Charlotte

Northeastern’s graduate campus in Charlotte, North Carolina, will be closed from Dec. 24 to Jan. 2. The campus will re-open on Jan. 3.

Northeastern University-Silicon Valley

Northeastern’s educational hub in Silicon Valley will be closed from Dec. 24 to Jan. 2. The hub will re-open on Jan. 3.
