“I’m minoring in Chinese. I started speaking it in high school and I’ve been to China a couple times, and there is just something I find fascinating about the language and culture. I’m not very strong when it comes to learning new languages so this is a good challenge for me. I’m not planning on pursing a career related to it. Both of my parents are teachers so education is very important to me, and there are a lot of things I like to study that I don’t necessarily want to work in.”
