Born and raised in Nigeria, Claudia Okonkwo, E'15, wanted to become an engineer despite the fact that it is considered an unusual profession for women there. Today, she’s a graduate of Northeastern University with a bachelor’s in chemical engineering and is moving on to Georgia Tech to pursue her doctorate in chemical and biomolecular engineering.
