A dancer’s dream by News@Northeastern - Contributor February 24, 2015 Share Facebook LinkedIn Twitter Boston Ballet dancers treated the Northeastern community to a sneak-peek performance and a Q&A session on Feb. 4, 2015, at Blackman Auditorium. Three of the participating dancers are enrolled at Northeastern. Earlier this month, Boston Ballet dancers treated more than 300 Northeastern community members to a sneak-peek performance of the ballet company’s upcoming spring repertoire. The event—the first Boston Ballet Dance Talk—included a Q&A session and was part of Northeastern’s ongoing partnership with the Boston Ballet that offers dancers the distinct opportunity to pursue their formal education and prepare for life after dance. Among the dancers who performed were Isaac Akiba, Misa Kuranaga, and Kathleen Breen Combes, all of whom are students in the College of Professional Studies. Photo by Heratch Ekmekjian.
