3Qs Live launches with discussion on Occupy Wall Street movement On Wednesday, Jeffrey Juris, associate professor of anthropology, kicked off the launch of 3Qs Live with an engaging discussion via Facebook about the Occupy Wall Street movement. Juris fielded a range on questions submitted through social media about the movement that has taken the world by storm. Juris – who as part of his research embeds himself with protestors and activists – delved into how the movement began and has evolved, the dynamic that exists in the specific camps and whether the movement will affect next year’s presidential election. Through 3Qs Live, Northeastern faculty take the dynamic exchange of ideas beyond the classroom and into an online forum to discuss the the world's most important news stories.
