On Wednesday, Jeffrey Juris, associate professor of anthropology, kicked off the launch of 3Qs Live with an engaging discussion via Facebook about the Occupy Wall Street movement. Juris fielded a range on questions submitted through social media about the movement that has taken the world by storm.

Juris – who as part of his research embeds himself with protestors and activists – delved into how the movement began and has evolved, the dynamic that exists in the specific camps and whether the movement will affect next year’s presidential election.
