WeekendWatch: Where to go during Restaurant Week

During Boston’s Restaurant Week, top-notch eateries across the city serve up their best dishes at great prices. Special prix fixe menus offer three-course dinners for $33.11, three-course lunches for $20.11 and two-course lunches for $15.11.

Restaurant Week actually runs for nearly two weeks—Aug. 14 to 19, and Aug. 21 to 26—and many restaurants will also serve from their special menus this Saturday, Aug. 20. Visit www.restaurantweekboston.com for a full list of participating restaurants and menus, or contact the individual restaurants for more information.

Here are some of our favorite spots near campus, which will all be participating in Restaurant Week.

Aquitaine
This French restaurant has a vegetable-rich menu, with summer sweet-corn soup and ratatouille listed among its appetizers, and entrées that include a vegetable cassoulet made from a variety of local runner beans, bolero carrots and wild arugula. But fear not, carnivores: Steamed PEI mussels and chermoula-rubbed St. Louis ribs round out the entrée offerings.
