Northeastern University CEO Breakfast Forum Welcomes Scott Griffith, CEO and President of Zipcar

What: Scott Griffith, CEO and President of Zipcar, will be the distinguished guest speaker at Northeastern University’s CEO Breakfast Forum. Griffith will discuss his experiences running the world’s largest car sharing service, also highlighting social and economic trends that have contributed to his company’s success.

His visit comes in the wake of Zipcar’s recent expansion into London and Vancouver, as well as the company’s agreement with the MBTA to quadruple Zipcar locations along various T lines, making it easier for Massachusetts residents to live and work without owning cars.

When: Wednesday, April 25. A networking reception will take place at 7:30 a.m., followed by breakfast and remarks from Mr. Griffith at 8:00 a.m., concluding at 9:30 a.m.

Mayor Thomas M. Menino recently awarded Zipcar with the 2007 Boston Green Business Award.
