Professor’s AI technology startup acquired by global cosmetics company Shiseido

Associate professor Raymond Fu spun out a company—Giaran Inc.—from his at lab at Northeastern. Now, Giaran has been acquired by Shiseido Americas Corporation in a move the two companies said will advance Giaran’s beauty simulation technology and transform the consumer experience by taking personalized beauty to the next level.
