    People often receive clothing, books, and gift cards for their birthdays. Northeastern professor Pran Nath is getting a two-day conference focused on the latest research into particle physics and cosmology.

    Stephen Hawking, an independent thinker who ‘didn’t follow conventional rules’


    Professor Pran Nath twice invited Stephen Hawking to Northeastern to speak at his International Symposium on Particles, Strings, and Cosmology. He reflected on the genius of the world-renowned physicist, who died on Wednesday at the age of 76.
