COVID-19 Testing requirements for entry to the U.S. and U.K.

US authorities have announced that effective Jan. 26, 2021, all persons traveling by air to the U.S. must present a negative coronavirus disease (COVID-19) polymerase chain reaction (PCR) or antigen test taken no more than 72 hours before departure from their destination.

In addition, beginning Jan. 18, 2021, the United Kingdom announced that all international travelers arriving in England and Scotland from outside the U.K., Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands, must present proof of having tested negative for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) obtained no more than 72 hours before boarding.

COVID-19 Testing requirements for entry to Canada

Effective, Jan. 7, 2021, Canadian authorities require all air travelers 5 years of age or older to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 molecular test result to the airline prior to boarding international flights bound for Canada.
