Mary Knox Merrill

When she’s not behind the camera, Mary Knox oversees the work of Northeastern’s multimedia department. She joined Northeastern in 2010 after having traveled the world and photographed just about everything from breaking news to endangered mountain gorillas for The Christian Science Monitor. A constant shutterbug, Mary Knox spends her free time capturing moments as she tries to keep up with her toddler son. Her husband, pet turtle and puppy dog also oblige for the camera. She earned her B.A. In English from the University of the South (a.k.a. Sewanee) and her M.S. in Journalism from Boston University.
