President Joseph E. Aoun led the undergraduate ceremony, which was held at TD Garden in Boston. CNN anchor and chief international correspondent Christiane Amanpour delivered the Commencement address. Northeastern conferred honorary degrees upon a distinguished group of influential figures: Lucian Grainge, chairman and CEO of Universal Media Group, Diana Natalicio, president of the University of Texas at El Paso, and Dr. Myechia Minter-Jordan, president and CEO of The Dimock Center. Pankhuri Singhal, S’17, a senior and behavioral neuroscience major, will deliver Northeastern’s student commencement address on Friday, May 5, at TD Garden in Boston.
