This week at Northeastern, students welcomed the season with vibrant campus events and cutting-edge research. On the Oakland campus, students celebrated Holi, filling the air with color and joy. Meanwhile, on the Boston campus, Paul Stevenson, an associate professor in the College of Science, was recognized with the Young Investigator Award. Jeffrey Lipton, an assistant professor of mechanical and industrial engineering, showcased artificial intelligence-driven robotics innovation.
On the Nahant campus, Geoffrey Trussell, chair, director and Doherty Professor of Marine and Environmental Sciences, explored marine life while the Boston campus came alive with blooming flowers and St. Patrick’s Day music. Alison Bechdel, a renowned cartoonist and author, captivated audiences at the Hanson Lecture, and Dennis Staroselsky, a theater professor, took the spotlight in a striking portrait session.
From science to storytelling, this week was full of energy, creativity and discovery.
