Last weekend, Northeastern students welcomed their loved ones to the Boston campus for the annual Family and Friends Weekend. Saturday and Sunday were filled with lawn games, excursions to museums, an a cappella concert, a movie screening — and lots of catching up. Paws and Cooper — the university’s community resource dog — dressed up as ghosts for Halloween while students participated in a pumpkin carving contest. Meanwhile, in Silicon Valley, students celebrated Diwali.
