This week at Northeastern, science and spring weather shaped life on the Boston campus. Sara Rouhanifard, an assistant professor specializing in click chemistry and RNA imaging, conducted research in the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex. Engineering professor Ruobing Bai explored adhesive innovations in the Mugar Life Sciences lab, while researchers Cristian Cassella and Marvin Onabajo worked with Ph.D. students to build low-power computer systems.
Across campus, students studied in Snell Library, walked through the EXP research complex, and braved spring rain with umbrellas in hand. Visiting associate clinical professor Stephen Wood performed magic tricks before class, and Evan Kenny shared his journey from Navy rescue swimmer to yoga instructor to Northeastern student.As another eventful week ended, men’s ice hockey captain Jack Williams signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
