From a one-off workout to a full-year membership, here’s how to make use of the fitness centers on the Boston campus.

Northeastern University faculty and staff in Boston have access to on-campus fitness facilities, but usage comes with fees and policies. Here’s a quick guide to what you need to know.

Who can use the facilities?

Full-time, benefit-eligible faculty and staff can access the Marino Recreation Center and SquashBusters Center with a membership or daily fee. The Cabot Center remains free.

What are the fees?

Annual membership is $270 (Sept. 1-Aug. 31). Discounted rates are available for later signups. A day pass is $12.

How to sign up

Register via the Employee Hub under “HR Benefits & Services” and “Campus Recreation Membership Payroll Deduction.”

Guest policy

One guest per day. Must be age 18 or older. Cost is $12 (peak hours) or $10 (off-peak). Guests must register in advance.

Security and rules

A valid NU Husky ID is required for entry. Proper workout attire is mandatory. No large bags, food or bikes allowed inside.
