The Mexican fusion restaurant is scheduled to open early next year. It will be housed in the space formerly occupied by B.GOOD, which closed in October.
Northeastern University faculty, staff and students in the mood for birria tacos, super cheesy quesadillas or steak burritos will soon be able to purchase those dishes at a new restaurant on the Boston campus.
Anna’s Taqueria, a chain of Mexican fusion restaurants, is scheduled to open a location early next year inside the Marino Recreation Center on Huntington Avenue. The restaurant will be housed in the space formerly occupied by B.GOOD, which closed in October.

Founded in 1995 in Brookline, Anna’s Taqueria serves up Mexican style dishes in a fast casual setting. The restaurant’s founders were inspired to start the restaurant in the style of San Francisco’s Mission District, which is home to some of the country’s most authentic Mexican restaurants.
Anna’s Taqueria, like B.GOOD, is one of several restaurant franchises owned by Boston-based Streetlight Ventures and has seven locations across Massachusetts.
“Anna’s has amazing food and everything is made from scratch in the restaurant every day,” says Streetlight Ventures CEO Anthony Ackil. “We are trying to grow Anna’s and we love this location and we love Northeastern, and we think Anna’s will be a great fit.”
Ackil says the plan is to open the restaurant sometime in January or February.
