Flowers lay at the memorial marker for former Northeastern student Candace Lee Williams, who died in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Candace was 20 years old and starting her third year at Northeastern when she died aboard American Airlines Flight 11 that was hijacked and deliberately crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
